The world of sports is also complicated like films and TV shows. Everyone has his or her personality and they live their life based on that. Nic Kerdiles was one of them who achieved a lot of things throughout his career in the NHL. However, the 29-year-old unexpectedly passed away in September last year.
Nic followed a similar pattern where he preferred to remain silent in terms of his personal life. However, sources managed to discover that he was romantically linked to television personality Savannah Chrisley for a brief period. Kerdiles died almost three years after his split from Chrisley.
Nic Kerdiles and Savannah Chrisley had to go through a lot until they separated
The pair met many years ago in 2017 and the credit must be given to Instagram. They tried to keep things hidden from the public as much as they could. However, Savannah’s father Todd once said that everything was going fine in the relationship, adding that Nic was supporting the family most of the time.
Kerdiles eventually decided to take things to the next level and approached his partner’s father to get engaged to her. The proposal happened in 2019 but the duo announced the following year that they have decided to split. The reason behind the separation was not disclosed but Chrisley confirmed in November 2020 that she maintained a close friendship with Nic.
There was a chance for things to get sorted out when Savannah stated in 2021 that she and Nic were working to figure out the problems. They continued to maintain a significant distance from social media and were taking every step carefully.

The Atlanta, Georgia native has become a popular face over the years for being featured on several reality shows. It must be noted that she was a brilliant student during her school and college days and initially pursued a career as a model. Back in 2015, she emerged as the winner of the Miss Tennessee Teen USA.
She completed her further studies at Lipscomb University and Belmont University. She was one of the cast members of the family show Chrisley Knows Best and has posted makeup and style-related content with her fans on social media.
Apart from Nic, her name was linked to many other personalities over the years, including singer Blaire Hanks. She has accumulated almost 2 million followers on her Instagram page.
Nic Kerdiles’ cause of death was revealed almost two months after his death
Kerdiles was the victim of a motorcycle accident in September 2023 which led to his demise. He was severely injured when his vehicle reportedly ran via a stop sign towards the north side of Tennessee. He was rushed to the hospital but later pronounced dead.
The Nashville City Medical Examiner said in a report that Nic suffered injuries to bones and brain and they also found a high amount of alcohol while conducting the tests, which was more than the permissible limit.
He was a member of the Anaheim Ducks and USA Hockey National Team Development. He even played for the Winnipeg Jets and after he was injured in one of the games, he began working in real estate.
