While speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, the Alice in Wonderland star stated that she instantly decided to marry Adam Shulman after their first meeting. Anne added that she opted to be honest with Adam and could trust him easily. The pair’s wedding was not attended by celebrities.
They canceled the celebrations of the 11th wedding anniversary in 2023 due to bad weather. While appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Anne said:
“You know I had a moment when I was curled up on his chest and we were watching hour three of Abbott Elementary and I was like, ‘I’m so happy.’ This is the right guy for me.”
Hathaway and Shulman have two children, Jonathan and Jack. Adam expressed his happiness in being a father, saying that his wife has also been a great mother. The duo have additionally preferred to work together over the years and Anne had once praised her husband, saying that he is a “wonderful producer.”

The Valentine’s Day star once told Elle magazine that Adam Shulman has changed her a lot, adding that she needs him more now. The duo also attended many events together and they have similar tattoos.
However, Anne Hathaway was in many other relationships before her marriage. It started with Topher Grace in the 90s and although they split in 2001, they later appeared in a film. A few rumors said that Anne was dating James Holzier and Scott Sartiano the following year.
Before her marriage, she was reportedly seen with Josh Lucas at dinner. Her longest relationship was with Raffaelo Follieri for almost four years. Meanwhile, everything seems to be fine now in her personal life.
