There is a common thing happening in today’s entertainment industry where bonds are established unexpectedly. It is not a bad thing since it leads to the formation of new friendships and netizens have got a habit of somehow linking a celebrity to another person.
But the good thing is that the same thing has not happened in terms of Norah Lee Allen. It is unfortunate that she is no more between us and was married to Duane Allen, a member of the band, The Oak Ridge Boys. Things did not end there since another member, Richard Sterban’s better half Donna’s father also passed away in a few hours.

Singing is a profession that has helped a lot of people to gain recognition over the years. Norah Lee Allen also managed to make a name for herself in this profession and was active at the Grand Ole Opry for a long time. Her voice was specifically praised and she was included in the list of the most talented performers.
Norah spent her childhood in Kentucky and developed an interest in singing at the same time. She performed with her family at different events and enrolled at the Warren County High School, where she completed her graduation. She was initially a part of The Chuck Wagon Gang and later came to Benson Publishing Group.
During the 70s, she made her debut at Grand Ole Opry as a part-time performer and was later promoted to a full-time artist. She had a lot of songs under her credits and was a mother of two kids born from her marriage to Duane Allen.
Richard Sterban has been involved with The Oak Ridge Boys for a long time
Also known as Richard Anthony Steban, he became an active part of the music industry in 1972. This was the same time when he joined The Oak Ridge Boys and served as the bass singer for the band. He is originally a resident of Collingswood, New Jersey.
Sterban went to the Collingswood High School and then completed his further studies at the Trenton State College. Apart from Sterban, The Oak Ridge Boys has two more people in the current lineup, William Lee Golden and Ben James. The band has witnessed the entry and exit of several people throughout its career such as Joe Bonsall and Calvin Newton.
The Oak Ridge Boys has released a lot of projects since the 50s
The Tennessee-based band was formed back in 1943 but they became famous by the 50s. As their career skyrocketed in the next few years, they began releasing several albums, starting with The Oak Ridge Quarter in 1958.
The group has got more than 20 albums on their list and the latest one was released around three years ago. Their successful work has helped them to get recognized at different ceremonies such as the Academy of Country Music Awards, Country Music Association Awards, and GMA Dove Awards.
